About Julia Shuler
Julie’s areas of specialization are adult neurogenic disorders assessment and intervention considerations, alternative clinical education and AAC considerations. Populations served include stroke, traumatic brain injury, and progressive neurological disease. Primary responsibilities for the department are clinical teaching in the areas of assessment and intervention methodologies. She teaches the undergraduate Communication Sciences and Disorders major capstone course and supervises graduate clinical practicum.

Professional Background
- Prior to working for the University of Redlands, Julie was employed as a senior Speech/Language Pathologist at Loma Linda University Medical Center in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Julie was also the Speech/Language Pathology Inpatient department supervisor.
