Yes, you are welcome to bring your own decorations or hire a decorator. We require a Certificate of Insurance for all external vendors (e.g., florists, decorators, photographers, etc.). However, please note that the use of confetti, straw, birdseed, rice, silly string, powder, sparklers, glitter, or smoke machines is strictly prohibited. Flame candles are also prohibited.
We have a wonderful catering partner on campus. Harvest Table Culinary Group is our exclusive provider for food and beverages. Harvest Tables' dishes are made from scratch and prepared fresh with high-quality, locally sourced, and responsibly sourced ingredients. Their talented catering team is dedicated to transforming these beautiful ingredients and event setups into a memorable experience for you and your guests.
No, parking is free for events; however, during the academic year, we recommend that guests park in the venue parking lot to avoid confusion with student parking.
The University requires all non-university events to carry comprehensive general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance can be obtained through an existing business or homeowner's insurance company. Most insurance companies will provide a rider policy for the day of the event for a nominal fee. Conferences and Events is located in the West Wing of the former Health Center Building at 1212 E Brockton Ave on the Redlands campus. The building is shared with Human Resources.
