Reunion Gift Details

As reunion committee members, you will endorse giving and solicit gifts from classmates in the months leading up to reunion. During Alumni Reunion Weekend, the focus should be on enjoying each other's company—not on raising funds towards the class gift. Therefore, auctions, raffles, and other types of fundraising activities should not be included as a part of your reunion lunch or other ARW events and may not count toward your class gift total.

Redlands Fund
The Redlands Fund is the University’s top fundraising priority because of the vital role it plays in providing the University with the resources and financial flexibility it needs to give scholarships and financial aid, making a Redlands education affordable for families.

Redlands Fund gifts have an increased benefit to Redlands because they are put to work immediately. The power of individual gifts is multiplied when combined with the gifts of thousands of other donors who make the choice to support the Redlands Fund.

Redlands Fund Scholarship Program
With a gift of $5,000 or more to the Redlands Scholarship Fund, you have the opportunity to support a current Redlands undergraduate student with a one-time named scholarship. This is a meaningful opportunity to directly invest in the academic endeavors of a Redlands student.

Redlands Fund Scholars are selected from a pool of students who have shown academic merit and demonstrated financial need. As a donor to this program, you will receive information about your student recipient, including a summary of their academic and extracurricular activities. The student will also be notified that a portion of their financial aid package for the year was made possible through your generosity.

How Can I Make a Redlands Fund Scholarship Possible?

Donors must make a $5,000 gift to the Redlands Fund or Redlands Scholarship Fund during the fiscal year. Gifts and commitments must be received by March 31 to support a student in the current academic year. Gifts received after this date will be stewarded in the fall of the next academic year.

Matching employer contributions count! For example, if you work for a 1:1 matching company, your gift of $2,500 will fund a Redlands Fund Scholarship.

On behalf of future students who will benefit from your support, thank you for considering this special type of gift!
