The Dance Minor consists of on-site learning in one of the several dance studios and theatre spaces on campus. The curriculum is focused on body presence and an understanding of how the body works in a variety of different physical approaches to dance.
What is a dance minor?
If you have a passion for dance and performing, the Dance Minor provides a broad base program along with production and choreographic opportunities. Students who minor in dance acquire skills of discipline and collaboration, while honing their creative capacities. These are skills that can be applied to wide variety of careers both in and outside the performing arts. Graduates pursue roles as Dancers, Choreographers, Teachers, and Artistic Directors.
