Celebrating, honoring, and remembering on Veterans Day

Dear University Community, 

On Veterans Day, we come together to celebrate, honor, and remember the dedicated service and sacrifice of our veterans and active-duty military.

At the University of Redlands, we are proud to have over 100 active-duty military and veterans enrolled in the college and schools. Additionally, we are fortunate to have faculty, staff, and alumni who have served or continue to serve.

As a member of a military family, I know the profound sacrifice involved in this service—the time separated from cherished family members, the holidays, celebrations, and other milestones missed, the challenges with moving, and the personal toll it can take. 

I encourage the Bulldog community to join me in thanking these individuals by participating in our Veterans Day Notes of Appreciation campaign, sponsored by Military and Veteran Services. You can also show your support by stopping by Hunsaker Plaza or the Willis Center today, to sign a thank you card, which will be delivered to a local veterans affairs organization the following day.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have selflessly served our nation and the families who have stood by their side. Your contributions are deeply appreciated.
