Subject:  CAS Undergraduate Student Testing Protocols: One Last Time

As a follow-up to the announcement that we will begin in person teaching and learning January 18, I am sharing the following reminders about testing expectations just one last time (I hope!). None of this information is new, just simplified.

PRE-ARRIVAL TESTING* Submit a negative COVID-19 test result prior to returning to campus. Antigen self-tests are permitted, and necessary for those who have tested positive within the last 90 days.

To submit results:     Redlands App: Tap yellow banner, Select CAS Undergrads, Follow prompts

POST-ARRIVAL TESTING* Complete a COVID-19 test within 3 - 5 days after you return to campus, even if you have tested negative prior to arriving. Antigen self-tests are permitted, and necessary for those who have tested positive within the last 90 days.

To submit results:    Redlands App:  UR Ready>Report Testing

WEEKLY TESTING* If you are not boosted and, if your pre-and post-arrival testing timeline does not require you to test next week (the week of January 17), because you are required to test weekly as part of our enhanced safety protocols, you need to upload proof of a negative test before the week ends.

To submit results:    Redlands App:  UR Ready>Report Testing

POSITIVE RESULT PROTOCOL If you test positive for COVID-19, report your results here and stay in isolation until your assigned case manager provides guidance for you to follow.

PROOF OF BOOSTER  While you have self-reported your current booster status as part of the attestation process, instructions about how to upload booster documentation will be shared soon!

*Student athletes may be subject to additional requirements and should therefore consult with their coach.

Any challenges in obtaining test results within the required timeframe will not excuse the testing requirement.  All undergraduate students are required to get tested and have results before their return to campus.  No exceptions.

Thank you for following these protocols.  It is making and difference!!
