Hello Everyone!

It is wonderful to see students on campus again.  And the weather, it’s perfect; seventy degrees, sunny, blue skies, and snowcapped mountains in the distance. It’s a great day to be a Bulldog!

Here are today’s updates and reminders:

Pre-arrival testing expectations remain in place, no exceptions! Following receipt of your negative test result, be sure to complete the COVID compliance attestation form as follows:   The link to upload your pre-arrival test results (required three to five days ahead of your return to campus) and attest to the accuracy of the information you have shared, is now live. The link is also easily accessed from the bright yellow banner found on the Redlands App, which allows you to conveniently upload proof of a negative test result. As part of this process, you will need to report your vaccination or booster date. If you cannot locate your vaccination card, search your state’s health department website for their vaccination registry. (California residents: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/)

Post-arrival testing is required. Please refer to this link for details. Note, post- testing results must be uploaded via the app:  UR Ready>Report Testing.  If your ID features are normally yellow, and they change to red, it is likely because our records indicate you are not in compliance with testing requirements. If that is the case you may be asked to leave campus, so please follow through on what is expected.

To students who have tested positive to COVID over the break, or as part of their pre-arrival testing protocol:  A negative test result is required for all students before returning to campus, even for those who have been recently infected.  However – those who have tested positive in the last 90 days should use an antigen test (also known as a ‘rapid test’), which can be self-administered.  Those students who have not recently been infected with COVID-19 are strongly encouraged to utilize a professionally administered PCR test, like those available at University Hall, and not return to campus until negative test results have been received.

To those who have been “boosted,” I will provide notice when we are ready to have you upload booster documentation via the Redlands app. For now, we are focused on pre- and post- arrival testing.
