New at the U of R

A range of information has been added to the Commencement 2021 web pages—from where to get regalia (which is optional) to FAQs on the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony, as well as the proceedings for the Schools of Business and Education. Additional information on the Graduate School of Theology ceremony will be provided by the school’s dean.

The University is partnering with the firm Full Measure to produce this year’s virtual Commencement ceremonies. Graduating students should monitor University announcements, Redlands.edu email accounts, and text messages for reminders and instructions.

Reminder of the week

If you are a member of the U of R community who has been fully vaccinated, you can request exemption from the weekly testing requirement by emailing your documentation to health_center@redlands.edu. Please be patient as the Health Center is experiencing a high volume of requests as vaccines become available through the Redlands campus vaccination clinic and elsewhere. Those granted an exemption from the weekly testing requirement will still need to complete the daily health assessment if coming onto a U of R campus.

News you can use

San Bernardino County publishes updates through a newsletter County Wire. Recent issues provide information about vaccine eligibility, COVID tier status, and other community news.
