Virtual Study Away Week 2020

Throughout the week of September 14th, we look forward to providing students with opportunities to learn more about the diverse array of international and domestic study away semester and May Term Travel courses the University offers students. We have put together a schedule of sessions to help students learn more about the different types of programs we offer as well as resources for students on how to help fund and get the most out of their study away experiences.

The virtual study away week is designed for students to visit as many sessions as they wish. All sessions will be recorded and posted to this page (recordings will be available with 3-5 business days after event), so students will be able to access them if not able to attend the live event.

Tuesday, September 15th

11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Study Away General Information Session: Learn about U of R study away options, how to search for programs, the study away application process and deadlines, etc.

11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. May Term 2021 Travel Courses Session: Learn about the current U of R faculty led May Term 2021 Travel Course offerings, application process and travel grant opportunities.

1:15 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. IES Partner Programs Session: Learn about IES study abroad programs and scholarship opportunities. The University of Redlands offers IES programs for most majors/minors/emphasis in Argentina, Chile, China, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, South Africa and Spain.

12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Student Panel: What Study Away Can Do For You: Past participants share their study away experiences and the benefits they received from participating in their programs.

Wednesday, September 16th 

11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Arcadia Intern in Philly Session: Learn about our new domestic internship program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. DIS Partner Programs: Learn about DIS study away programs and scholarship opportunities. The University of Redlands offers DIS programs in Denmark and Sweden for most majors/minors/emphasis.

12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Salzburg Session: Learn about the U of R's international campus in Salzburg, Austria. A panel including 2 past participants and a very special guest from Austria, our very own renowned faculty member Katharina Fereher, will share details about the Salzburg program and their experiences on the program.
