We are thrilled to announce that the University of Redlands Summer Cello Workshop will take place August 14-15, 2021 in-person on the University of Redlands campus! See below for application information.
The Summer Cello Workshop (SCW) began in 2017 as a collaborative effort led by Lucy Cahuantzi, while in her second year of graduate studies at University of Redlands. Typically, SCW is a comprehensive 6 day music program for young cellists. The schedule is filled with private lessons, monitored individual practice time, cello ensemble coaching sessions, cello orchestra rehearsals and daily performance classes. The week culminates with Masterclasses and a Cello Extravaganza Concert of student cello quartets and cello orchestra.
