Artist Statement

Storytelling has always been an essential part of Grace’s work. Moments often look like a jointed stitch, broken lines, a frayed edge, and the patched or poked mended sweater. Details, small fragments and leftover pieces have always felt like intimate connections and deeply personal conversations. Grace has always tried to offer the same texture of life in her own storytelling.

“Fashion Forms”

Four works inspired by this time in isolation and the lovable unloved bodies of fashion.
