Mark Cvikota, M.P.A. has over 25 years of experience in the private and public sectors in all aspects of human resources management including recruitment, selection and on-boarding of staff, classification and compensation, training and development, benefits administration and labor/employee relations. His career includes service at General Dynamics, the County of Riverside and the City of Moreno Valley.

Mark is the author of Successful Hiring: A Practical Guide to Interviewing and Selecting Employees. He has taught a wide variety of courses in human resources at UC Riverside Extension and other institutions.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration from UC Riverside. He has completed certifications in human resources, personnel management and risk management.

Grant L. Doster, M.B.A. has 25 years of line management experience, having led sales, marketing, distribution, strategic planning, and business development in the entertainment, advertising, consumer products and banking industries. He has held positions including general manager at Pepsi and Miller Brewing, vice president of global sales and marketing at Walt Disney, and senior vice president of client services for a prominent national advertising firm.

Grant holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands and attended the Graduate School of Retail Banking at the University of Virginia. He has worked as an independent trainer, facilitator and motivational speaker since 2005.

Kamala Gollakota, Ph.D. is currently an associate professor of management at the University of Redlands School of Business. Prior to joining the Redlands faculty she taught a the University of South Dakota. Her research interests included organizational decline and turnaround, downsizing and corporate governance. her current research is on the role of the business organization as an agent for good in the world. She has published widely in academic books and journals. Kamala has experience in the corporate sector as well, having served as a human resources professional at Crompton Greaves Limited.

Kamala holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Delhi, India, a post graduate diploma in personnel management and industrial relations from Xavier Labor Relations Institute, India, and a doctoral degree in management science from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.

James Spee, Ph.D. is director of graduate programs for the University of Redlands School of Business where he has taught since 1995. He has more than 10 years of experience in community development, nonprofit management and organizational change management. He served as president of the Western Academy of Management in 2005/06, and has served on the boards of the North American Case Research Association and the Management Education and Development Division of the Academy of Management. He teaches courses in strategy, organizational change, leadership, communication, and organizational learning.

Jim holds a master's degree in business administration and a doctoral degree from Claremont Graduate University. His research focuses on the design of management education, measurement of learning outcomes and aviation education.

Deborah Van Huis, M.S., principal of Expertise On Demand, has over 20 years experience in the entitling and construction field, as well as general business project management expertise. She has served as vice president of forward planning, regional land development manager and in other leadership positions for businesses such as SunCal Companies, Centex Homes and KB Homes. She has also published articles on employee motivation and leadership.

Deborah holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in administrative leadership from Central Michigan University.

Antonio (Tony) Zavala, M.B.A. has more than 30 years of management experience in operations, human resources, and training and development at both large multinational companies such as McDonald's and small manufacturing and service companies. Tony is an expert in leadership, supervision and operational excellence and has consulted on many projects covering operational, tactical and strategic organizational issues.

Tony holds a master's degree in business administration from Pepperdine University as well as multiple professional certifications.
