The digital divide
Rasool Azari is associate professor in the School of Business at University of Redlands (1997-present) and previous associate chair of the department of management and business.
Before joining University of Redlands he had four years of teaching experience at George Washington University and over 12 years of experience as project manager, design engineer and research associate working in interdisciplinary multinational corporations in Germany and the USA (General Electric Medical Systems, Technical University of Berlin, Litton Guidance and Control, and MTS Gmbh). He has been a consultant and business reviewer of proposals submitted for funding to the Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/Advanced Technology Programs (ATP).
He holds a Doctor of Science in engineering management and MBA in International Business from George Washington University, and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from UCLA. He has numerous publications on the impact of socioeconomic factors on technological change/digital divide.

Worked closely with design engineers and manufacturing division to develop and define the design and construction requirements of the test station; planning, organizing, supervision, work scheduling, cost controls, and system delivery. Responsible for the weekly written progress report of 30 engineers and technicians to the Vice President of engineering.
