Do you want to be enlightened? You came to the right place.
I began my journey to enlightenment shortly after I started working for the University of Redlands. The University gave me the flexibility to pursue my degree through the College of Arts & Sciences, by allowing me to attend classes on my lunch hour… for 16 years. I graduated in 2010, at the age of 53, with a B.A. in Religious Studies, which changed my life in such a positive way.
My name is Pam Verosik. I believe this unique educational journey, combined with over 25 years of experience in the Registrar’s Office, will assist me with my new responsibilities on the Transfer Evaluation Team. Being a transfer student myself, I understand the desire to want to better oneself and the fear one faces in returning back to school as an adult, after being away from it for so long. But if I could do it, I know you can too. I believe that!
As a Religious Studies major, it is only fitting that I close with a quote from the Buddha:
“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.”
So I ask again, “Do you want to be enlightened?” I hope you say, “yes.”
