President's Message

President KunclTo College Seniors at Your Honors Recognition

While the official University of Redlands recognition of 2020 graduates has been postponed to the fall, the staff and faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences could not allow this academic year to go by without celebrating you and your great achievements.

To graduating seniors at your honors recognition: You have excelled inside and outside of the classroom as student leaders, scholar athletes, community volunteers, future politicians, talented musicians, promising poets, budding scientists, and everything in-between.

In so doing, you have become the University’s exemplars, and we are gratified to have been a part of your college journey.  It’s been our joy to be your colleagues.

We always claim that your Redlands education has honed your abilities “to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems.”  Those cornerstones of learning are surely valuable skills for a thriving, meaningful life.  What you’ve experienced is critical not just to your next challenge in life but also in tackling the exciting future opportunities none of us can even predict.  I know you will be able to rely on your Redlands resourcefulness to navigate our ever-changing world.

I send you all my very best wishes, as you launch now your alumni careers!
