Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Redlands has canceled the traditional 2020 Commencement exercises originally planned for April 13-19. Graduates will receive their diplomas in the mail, following the successful conclusion of their degree programs.
The University will celebrate our graduates and their accomplishments through several events specific to our College and Schools. Some programs are holding virtual events, for example, the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies and the Graduate School of Theology. For a majority of graduates and their loved ones, we are focused on a return to the Redlands campus during Homecoming and Parents’ Weekend in October 2020. The University plans to hold special events that will recognize 2020 graduates for their hard work, perseverance, and success. These events will honor the graduates in a joyful and public way. Invitations with details about each celebration will be announced in the summer of 2020.
