Traditionally a close-knit community for female students originally opened in 1925, debuting Fall 2017 Grossmont Hall reopened as a gender-inclusive community having been taken offline for renovations during the 2016-2017 academic year. The community is opened now for all second-year students featuring a spacious lobby and kitchen renovation on the main floor, a large study room on the basement level, all new material finishes, upgraded bathrooms community-wide, AND combination air conditioning and heating units in all rooms.
Grossmont has two-room style choices including double and triple rooms. The double rooms are located in the center of each floor with hallway bathrooms, while the larger, corner rooms are suites which share a bathroom between two, triple-occupancy rooms.
The Residence Life and Housing staff in this community are committed to providing a wide range of program opportunities for residents to get involved and are eager to meet the needs of second-year students.
