Fairmont Hall is one of the smallest communities, housing 66 first-year students. The community has two lobby spaces, a kitchen, a ping pong table and study space in the basement. One Redlands tradition finds its home in Fairmont with the famous Fairmont Rock located just outside the hall. Other residence halls, as well as clubs and organizations, on-campus attempt to “attack” the rock with spray paint while Fairmont community members take pride in defending it with water.
