Below is an example of a NorCal Adventure itinerary. This itinerary is subject to change.
|Day 1||Drive up to Northern California from the University of Redlands Campus (Approx. 7 hours). Cross the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin County where you will set up camp in the Valley of the Headlands.|
|Day 2||Wake up and prep for your intro backpack (4 miles). Drive 45 minutes to Point Reyes National Seashore and start your overnight backpack. Camp overlooking the Pacific Ocean.|
|Day 3||Pack up your camp and head back to the trailhead (3 miles). Drive back to Frank Valley and de-issue, relax and recover. Spend the evening at Muir Beach.|
|Day 4||Wake up and head to Sausolito to take the ferry across the bay to San Francisco. Walk around the city (Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square) before returning via ferry to your vans and driving up into the headlands for sunset.|
|Day 5||Pack up your camp and begin the journey back to the Redlands Campus (7 hour drive).|
