Sean is a 3rd year doctoral student in clinical psychology at Loma Linda University. He uses an integrative approach to therapy that includes cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic and emotion-focused practices to help clients develop coping skills, establish healthy boundaries and create new meaning for emotionally complex experiences. Sean previously worked with students in a college health setting and emphasizes the development of positive and collaborative professional relationships with clients. He aims to support student efforts to change cyclical thinking patterns, build healthier personal relationships and manage the numerous stresses of university life. His hope is that he can create a space with clients in which they are safely able to process the past, explore their identities in the present and prepare for the future. University students are his area of clinical focus and he is excited to be engaging with students at University of Redlands.
