Lacie is a fourth-year clinical psychology doctoral student at Loma Linda University. She utilizes an emotion-focused approach with an emphasis on multiculturalism, while also incorporating elements of interpersonal, acceptance and commitment, dialectic behavior, and cognitive behavioral therapies. She aims to create a safe and affirming environment for her clients in order to foster a healing experience, and believes that the therapeutic relationship should be validating and collaborative. Specific areas of interest include LGBTQIA-related issues, eating disorders and disordered eating, body image, diversity-related issues, trauma, depression, self-esteem, and anxiety.
