Making an Appointment

To begin meeting with a counselor, you must first schedule an appointment by calling the Counseling Center 909-748-8108 or sending an email to our administrative assistant Maria Olson

Our Admin Assistant is only available during business hours, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.  All calls and emails received after business hours will be answered the next business day.

Our administrative assistant will help you find the first available appointment. This appointment will occur via secure video platform (Webex) or in person. It will be an opportunity to discuss your current concerns. We will work with you to develop a collaborative plan for next steps. These steps may include effective coping strategies, a follow-up appointment, or referral to other resources. To get the most out of your appointment, please be in a private location at the time of your appointment.

You will receive an email the day before your appointment with a link to the Webex meeting or location of your appoitnment and instructions on how to complete intake forms required for your appointment.

At your appointment time, you will meet with one of our clinicians, i.e., a licensed psychologist, a licensed marriage and family therapist, a licensed professional counselor, or an advanced supervised graduate intern over secure Webex/in person. This appointment typically lasts 45-50 minutes. Our clinician will ask  questions to gather the information to determine how best to help you.

Instructions for in person services will be updated at the beginning of the semester, depending on CDC guidelines.  Please check back in the Fall.
