Making an Appointment

To begin meeting with a counselor, you must first schedule an appointment by calling the Counseling Center 909-748-8108 or sending an email to our administrative assistant Maria Olson.

Our Admin Assistant is only available during business hours, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.  All calls and emails received after business hours will be answered the next business day.

Our administrative assistant will help you find the first available appointment. This appointment will occur via secure video platform (Webex). It will be an opportunity to discuss your current concerns. We will work with you to develop a collaborative plan for next steps. These steps may include effective coping strategies, a follow-up appointment, or referral to other resources. To get the most out of your appointment, please be in a private location at the time of your appointment.

You will receive an email the day before your appointment with a link to the Webex meeting and instructions on how to complete forms required for your appointment.

At your appointment time, you will meet with one of our clinicians, i.e., a licensed psychologist, a licensed marriage and family therapist, a licensed professional counselor, or an advanced supervised graduate intern over secure Webex. This appointment typically lasts 45-50 minutes. Our clinician will ask  questions to gather the information to determine how best to help you.

We are offering remote services until further notice. We are unable to offer walk-in or drop-in appointments. If you are in crisis, we have a counselor of the day who will do a phone assessment first and if they determine that you must be seen in person, they may be able to meet with you in person.

For more information about our crisis services, please refer to our Crisis Services page. You can also call our 24/7 Crisis Line 909-748-8960 to be connected with a licensed therapist right away.
