Subject: Bicycle Theft Security Alert
In the past two weeks, there have been several bicycles stolen from the campus. These thefts have mostly occurred in the early morning hours. The suspects seem to target bicycles that are secured with cable locks, which can easily be cut. There have also been thefts of bicycle parts when the frame was secured with a U-Lock.
To ensure the ongoing safety and security of our campus community, Public Safety will continue to extra patrol the interior of the campus on a 24/7 basis, especially in the early morning hours. Any suspicious activity or individuals should be considered a serious matter and reported immediately to Public Safety at 909-748-8888 or ext. 8888 from any campus phone.
As a reminder:
Our highest priority remains the safety and security of our campus community. Any off-campus emergency should be reported to Redlands Police at 911.
