Study Away
Education abroad is an integral aspect of the educational experience at Redlands, and we have a rich tradition of broadening student growth and learning through participation in international and domestic study away programs. Our goal is to create opportunities for students and faculty to explore diverse cultures and languages en route to becoming more broad-minded, interculturally adept, and knowledgeable citizens of the global community.
Mission Statement
Our Study Away Office staff and assistants provide and facilitate personal advising to students at various stages of the study away cycle – from program selection to pre-departure preparation. We assist students in identifying programs that might best assist them in achieving their academic, intellectual, and personal goals. We also challenge students to consider options that will strengthen their intercultural skills and imbue them with greater resiliency and confidence while helping them to become more well-rounded and globally minded individuals.
