To qualify, you must complete the following: serve on active duty designated by the Secretary of Defense for a period of 15 months; then must serve an additional period of active duty determined by the Secretary of defense, or a period of 24months in an active status in the Selected Reserve without a break in service and finally, the remaining period of obligated services will be specified in the agreement.
Participation in this program makes you eligible for the following incentives: a cash bonus of $5000; repayment of a qualifying student loan not to exceed $18000; allowance equal to the 3-year monthly chapter 30 rate for 12 months; allowance equal to fifty percent of the less than 3-year monthly chapter 30 rate for 36 months and coordination with Montgomery GI Bill Benefits.
