First-Year

More than 90% of our students receive financial aid.

During the 2022-23 academic year, approximately 90% of College of Arts and Sciences undergraduate students received some form of financial assistance.

With merit and talent-based scholarships, as well as generous financial aid packages, Redlands works hard to enable students to discover their passions and begin pursuing their dreams.

That’s why we offer The Redlands Promise to admitted high school seniors: Pay no more than $24,000 for tuition in 2024. Also, we commit to graduating students in four years with the Redlands Four-Year Graduation Guarantee.

The value of a Redlands education

While earning a college degree pays off, not all colleges provide the same value. What is value? It means getting the highest return on your investment of both time and money.

At Redlands, you are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on your academic record, and you are considered for need-based financial aid once you complete the FAFSA or California Dream Act application. Redlands also offers talent scholarships in art, creative writing, music, and theatre.

Redlands is ranked as the #5 best regional university in the West by U.S. News & World Report (2021).

The Princeton Review recognizes Redlands among the nation's Best 385 Colleges (2020).
