Summer Bridge

This program is an exciting pre-college program designed to provide incoming first generation and/or financial aid-dependent students with important information before they begin classes at the University.

The program will afford students the following opportunities:

  • A chance to meet other incoming students

  • A thorough exposure to the Redlands campus, various facilities and resources

  • Access to University of Redlands faculty and staff members

  • A broad introduction to and overview of proven academic strategies

The University covers all living expenses during the students' stay on campus, except for personal item purchases. Students live in a campus residence hall along with other incoming first-year students participating in Summer Bridge. Please note that participation in this program will not influence housing or roommate selection for the coming school year.

Summer Bridge was first held in the summer of 2004 and has a proven track record of retention and graduation for those students who participate.

Attendance for Summer Bridge is by invitation only. This year, Summer Bridge will take place July 24 - 28.
