This course is a one-semester introduction to the fundamentals of Managerial Economics and Ecological Economics. The course will cover basic economic tools, focusing on analysis at the margin, supply and demand theory, production theory, capital theory, profit maximization, pricing strategy, game theory, cost minimization, firm structure, and behavioral economics. Throughout the course, we will be viewing economic frameworks and theories through a critical lens, and will incorporate issues of sustainability, climate change, and social justice.
