The University of Redlands seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration and Management in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). The successful candidate will have experience in undergraduate teaching and a demonstrable commitment to active student learning, plus practical and academic experience with data analytics research that addresses marketing to underrepresented populations. The teaching load is six class sections each academic year, with service as an academic/professional advisor for majors. Must be able to offer Global Marketing at the introductory level, instruct in entry-level college writing, and teach Senior Capstone and data analytics courses (e.g., Introduction to Business Analytics, Data Visualization and Analytics, Data Analytics for GIS, and Data Analytics for the Social Sciences).

The successful candidate will be expected to support the College of Arts and Sciences’ general education curriculum.
The University of Redlands is a liberal arts and professional institution in a town of 70,000 located 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The campus is surrounded by orange groves and sits at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains, one hour from the coast and 45 minutes from Palm Springs.
AMERICAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION: An opportunity for preliminary conversations will be made available during the August 2019 American Marketing Association Summer Academic conference in Chicago. POSITION CRITERIA: Eligible candidates will have a Ph.D. or other terminal degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Data Analytics, or a relevant field. ABDs in the final year of their dissertation work will be considered. Bilingual candidates, especially those who can speak Spanish and English, are preferred. Recent and relevant industry experience is desired, but not required.
