Armacost Library

As of Wednesday, March 18, in-person admission to the Armacost Library has been suspended. [For more recent updates, please see https://library.redlands.edu/covid19.]

All books and physical materials have been automatically renewed and we have suspended fines for the rest of the academic year.

If you need a book from the library shipped to your home, please contact us at library@redlands.edu.  We are working on a process to automate the order process for your convenience.  Please check the library website in the coming days for updates.

Most faculty and staff will work remotely.  Two staff members will be in the building Monday through Thursday throughout the closure to complete on-site activities.  We will continue to offer the majority of our services virtually:

  • Librarians are available to help with student, faculty, and staff questions about finding and accessing library resources through chat, email, or meeting in WebEx.
  • Librarians are available to collaborate with faculty to identify resources for use in their technology-enhanced courses.
  • Interlibrary Loan and Course Reserves will continue to support electronic materials.  If you need a physical source currently on reserve converted to electronic format, please contact library@redlands.edu.

For the most current information on library services and to find suggestions for things to read, listen to, or watch, go to the Armacost Library Homepage.
