EARTH DAY 2020: TREES, PLEASE!

Youth are the future caretakers of the earth, but who says their contribution to conservation can’t start now? Through a partnership of Esri, the University of Redlands, and Redlands Unified School District, every elementary school student in the District will be given a tree in honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in April 2020. The goal of this project is to provide young students the opportunity to learn more about how they can help protect the environment while also making a contribution to their local community. Trees offer tremendous benefits; they clean our air of carbon, reduce soil erosion, save energy by cooling our houses, and increase property values. Change often begins at the local level, with people just like you. Everyone can make a difference, so let’s make a difference together!
