4th of July Parade

Ashland's 4th of July Parade, beginning at 10 a.m., is enjoyed annually by over 20,000 spectators, who line Main Street each year for the festivities.  After the parade concludes, there are over one hundred booths featuring food, crafts, information and a Family Activity Zone in downtown Ashland's Lithia Park; while bands perform all afternoon in the park's bandshell

  -Brat/hot dog stand on the Courthouse lawn from the Lions Club and in front of Moore’s Army Navy.
 -Car Show on the south corner of Main Street and 2nd Ave.
 -The Ashland Historical Society will be doing a Cemetery Walk at Mt. Hope Cemetery from 2-4pm.
   (In case of rain, Saron Lutheran Church, 517 9th Ave West.)
 -Upper 13 Baseball League at Pufall Field in Hodgkins Park,  Merchants vs Lumberjacks at 2pm.
 -National Park Service Trivia Contest at 7pm at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center.
 -Chequamegon Bay Concert Band play at Memorial Park at 8pm 
        (In case of rain, concerts will be moved to Northland College, Alvord Theatre.)
  -Fire Run at 9:45pm,
  -Fireworks at approx. 10pm, following the Fire Run, overlooking Chequamegon Bay.

River Rafting

Half Day Rogue River Rafting Scenic Float. A calm and casual river trip option is also available. The Scenic Float goes from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is not a white water rafting experience but instead a more relaxing tour of the flora and fauna in the Rogue River. Group rates are available for this trip.
