Bonjour France Bulldog Travelers –

We hope you are doing well and getting excited as our trip nears. Only 4 more months until we are all headed to France!

We have been working to gather answers to some questions we have received. Please see the more information link below for guidance and answers to these thoughtful questions.

Thank you for letting us know if you would like additional rooms. We were able to secure the additional nights for $186 per night.

What’s Next:
  • The balance of your trip cost, $3,575 per person for double occupancy and $4,375 per person for single occupancy, is due by February 1st to our office. Those of you who requested additional nights at the hotel can pay the additional amount at the same time. Payment can be made by credit card by calling our office at 909-748-8011 or you may mail a check.

 • Please send your passport number, expiration date and date of birth to alumni@redlands.edu.

 • So that we'll know when to expect you, please send your flight information, including flight numbers and times to us at alumni@redlands.edu.

 • If you are not planning to attend the day at Disney Paris, please let us know. We are happy to make alternative arrangements, so please also indicate what you would be interested in doing on that day instead.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions and we will continue to send updates and additional information as we get closer to our departure.

Bonjour France Bulldog Travelers –

We have wonderful news to bring you in the new year- our trip to France is sold out! We will have 37 people traveling with us, including our wonderful alumnae guides Marilyn Magness '75 and Lexie Martone '69 and me. I’m also delighted to let you know that President Ralph Kuncl and his wife Nancy will be making the trip with us as well as VP/Dean of Student Life Char Burgess ’69 and her husband, long-time University trustee Larry Burgess ’67. See below for the full list of your fellow travelers.

Rooming Options-
Some of you have already requested additional nights in Paris. If you have not done so already and wish to arrive early (prior to May 23) please let us know this week. The rate per night will be no more than $186; however, Lexie may be able to arrange a lower group rate once we know the number of rooms we require.

The hotels we will be staying in are true to European standards and only offer two configurations, one double bed or two twins. Married couple will be placed in double rooms. Please let us know if you would like the alternate configuration.

Flight Reminder- We recommend you book your flight with United, American or Air Tahiti Nui. Once you book your flight please send us your flight details.

Travel Insurance- If you wish to purchase travel insurance here is a link to the recommended companies.

More information to come- We are looking forward to a terrific trip– it’s an amazing itinerary and we know that whenever Bulldogs are together, it’s magical. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have questions– obviously, there is much more information to come as we get closer. Please save the information link below, as it will be a great resource for all of our details and correspondence.

Bonjour France Bulldog Travelers –

We will be getting much more information to you in January about our upcoming trip to France but I know several of you are starting to look at flights and had some questions. So here’s some information to get you started in case you’re airfare shopping over the holidays.

Recommendations from our host travel agent:
- Fly into Charles de Gaulle airport (more information about ground transportation to the hotel to follow)
- Travel to arrive by morning on Tuesday, May 23rd
- Fly on United, American or Air Tahiti Nui – Air France and their code share partner, Delta, are not recommended because of the very busy terminal they arrive into.
- Return flights from Charles de Gaulle should depart on Friday, June 2nd
- If you wish to book additional nights at our hotels in Paris on either the front or back end of the trip, please let us know and we will reserve the rooms for you.

Please note that the Office of Alumni & Community Relations will be closed for the holiday break beginning at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 23 and will reopen January 3rd. However, this inbox will be monitored if you have any questions.

Holiday blessings to each of you and your families.

Och Tamale!
