Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Child Participation: Yes

Minimum age: 10

Handicap Accessible: Yes, volunteers must be able to do some simple physical work such as digging, raking and painting. 

Maximum Volunteers: 20

Description of Activity: Projects will include planting, pruning, raking, painting, weeding, etc. All tools  will be provided. Wear closed-toe shoes and gardening & painting clothes.

Nature Center - east on Chapman from 55 fwy.  Turn left on Esplanade (Shell station on corner) go 100 feet - on left large parking lot - yellow sign next to double gate - go in

*Refreshments will be provided.  Come for any length of time between 9 am-1pm. All help is appreciated.

About the organization: The El Modena High School Nature Center/Native Plant Garden is dedicated to the teaching of water conservation and ecological principles to students in grades K-12 and community members.
