Description of Activity: Revitalize a vacant plot of land for the purpose of growing food. Activities would include: removing dirt & weeds, turning mulch into soil, building propagation station, germinating/planting, overall cleaning.
Equipment to bring: If you have, please bring a hat, gloves, hand shovels, garbage bags, rakes, shovels.
About the organization: With your help we can acquire vacant properties and turn them into farms that grow food for community distribution, or solar farms to help Los Angeles generate its water and energy from renewable sources.
