She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business; a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education; and a Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College. Previously, Tamara held positions, including leadership roles, in development, campaigns, external relations, and major gifts for the University Libraries at University of Nevada, Las Vegas; University of Chicago, Booth School of Business; Northwestern University, School of Education and Social Policy; Yale University; and the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Public Health. She has led numerous travel trips in her prior positions and is looking forward to traveling with this great group of Bulldogs.

Faculty: Allison Fraiberg is Professor of Communication and Cultural Studies in the School of Business, where she teaches courses on leadership communication, business and management consulting, and critical thinking. Allison has won numerous teaching awards at Redlands, and she especially enjoys her classroom experiences with working professional students. As Associate Director of International Programs, she leads students on short-term, business-focused study tours. Recent abroad programs have included journeys through Central and Western Europe, the Adriatic, Southeast Asia, and South Africa.
Her research bridges the often-wide gap between the arts and business, and between professional education and the liberal arts. Finding ways to bring the humanities and arts into business education challenges Allison to focus on the why of our intentions and actions – in business, in leadership, and in life. In addition to her work at Redlands, she designs and facilitates corporate workshops on 21st-century business skills, which aim to bring persuasive communication skills to the region’s organizational leaders and entrepreneurs.
When she isn’t working, Allison can usually be found on a golf course, or with students seeking out tasty local treats somewhere on the planet.
