We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive wine experience in Paso Robles, personally curated for University of Redlands alumni and friends, from June 4–6, 2021.
The wine region of California’s Central Coast continues to grow in stature, featuring some of the highest-rated wines in the entire country and the world. Many of the winemaking teams in Paso Robles are experimenting in exciting ways that we want you to taste and experience firsthand. During early June, the wines will have awoken into a new growth cycle, giving us the ideal timing to pair them with exquisite menus.
In addition to sharing Redlands camaraderie, you will have personal access to the winemakers themselves. We hope you will talk to them about their process—how they create their wine, and what differentiates their product from others. We promise that you will come away with a richer understanding of how to drink and pair these fine wines, and enjoy the company of others connected to the University like you.
When you visit wine country, it is a visceral experience. You will see rows of vines neatly laid out, finding yourself amidst the region’s natural beauty. Even as part of the University’s group, you can still find a sense of solitude in this special place, appreciating where you are, and giving yourself a chance to catch a breath and take it all in.
We like to think of wine as “memory in a bottle.” This amazing trip, specially created for the University’s alumni and friends, is an extension of our home. We hope that when you open one of the bottles you discover during this weekend, you will remember the experience you had with your fellow Redlands travelers with fondness, united in a common bond that lasts a lifetime.
