Celebrate 80 Years of Hawaiian culture at the University of Redlands with a fusion of  Hawaiian and Japanese food, sake, music and dance. Artfully paired cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by a five-course dinner featuring tastings by Kokusai Sake Kai, an international association dedicated to sharing the finest sake experience. The evening will feature traditional daiginjo, ginjo and junmai sake—award winners from the 2016 U.S. National Sake Appraisal held in Honolulu in July. Entertainment will be provided by U of R students and the family of Nathan ’76, Hilary, and Daniel ’07, and Mari ’07 Aipa. The Association will be represented by board member Alan Kido, parent of Nicholas ’13. Come and experience this and more wonderful surprises brought to us by alumni, students and friends from the Islands. Hawaiian dress encouraged. $65 per person. $50 for Town & Gown members.
