About the organization: The El Modena High School Nature Center/Native Plant Garden is dedicated to the teaching of water conservation and ecological principles to students in grades K-12 and community members. Come and enjoy a beautiful one acre garden and see what we have to offer to elementary students.
Description of Activity: We will be improving the look of the garden by weeding, raking and planting plants. We will also be giving the garden some needed attention by mulching. Some plant signs need to be reattached to their posts. The "museum" needs to be cleaned up and the displays worked on. We also have a sea shell crafting project for those with a talent for crafts.
