Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Keylana was looking for an opportunity to live in California, where her dad is from. Redlands could connect her to her faculty in a way she hadn't experienced anywhere else. A summer study abroad trip to China, experiences in a variety of clubs and organizations, and a place in our honors program, Proudian, Keylana has been soaking up her Redlands experience.
Kolby was drawn to Redlands because of the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies, which offers students a unique one-of-a-kind program where they can design their own major. Kolby developed his Johnston emphasis (major) in themed entertainment design. He also has access to vast experiential and interdisciplinary opportunities at Redlands; watch his video to learn more.
Long Beach, California native, Montserrat chose Redlands because she felt cared for from the very beginning. After her First-Year Seminar and a health, medicine, and society course, she found herself changing her major from biology to public policy. She had found a major that combined her passions for advocacy and helping others.
