Jennifer oversees the University of Redlands’ media outreach efforts in the Inland Empire. She also plays an integral role in connecting journalists with the University's subject experts, supports projects of the media relations team, and is a contributor to Och Tamale, the institution's alumni magazine.
Jennifer began her journalism career, which now spans two decades, in Lake Arrowhead, California, and has since worked as a reporter, photographer, paginator, editor and managing editor throughout the Inland Empire. She has also worked as a communications consultant and graphic designer.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has been committed to community service. She worked for more than a decade in leadership with the Girl Scouts of America and the Parent-Teacher Association in the Rim of the World School District. She has served on the boards of the Redlands Chamber of Commerce, YMCA of the East Valley, Community Foundation, Rotary Club, Redlands Fire Department, Citrograph Foundation and the University of Redlands Town & Gown.
Jennifer earned an associate's degree at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, a bachelor's degree in management at the University of Redlands and is currently a master's student in the School of Education at U of R.
