Associated Students of the University of Redlands is the student government of the University.
Overall responsibility for the ASUR rests with the ASUR President, elected to a one-year term each spring.
The President appoints the ASUR cabinet to assist in the management of the Bulldog Weekly newspaper, La Letra yearbook, Diversity Affairs, Gender Affairs, Convocation & Lecture Series, Peer Education, Social Affairs, and Clubs & Organizations.
In addition, the ASUR Senate is comprised of sixteen elected members. Senators represent the student body on University-wide committees and work with the ASUR President to approve the ASUR Budget.
ASUR’s substantial $630,000 budget enables it to fund various social events such as concerts, films, clubs, all-school parties and educational forums. In addition, the Bulldog Weekly student newspaper, yearbook and Convocation & Lecture Series are funded through this budget.
