Associated Students of the University of Redlands
The Associated Students of The University of Redlands (ASUR) is set up to represent the students to the fullest on issues pertaining to academics, University policy, and other areas that directly affect students. We also aim to deliver high-quality programming and events that reflect student interests.
As the student government officials of the University of Redlands, we are determined to make the most of the year, and we are always open to the suggestions or ideas of the students. We make ourselves available and easily accessible to the student body by holding a wide range of office hours and outreach events.
The ASUR President is in charge of appointing the ASUR Cabinet. Each Cabinet member is assigned specific responsibilities as per the constitution, to cover the diverse desires and needs of the students. The Cabinet members, their titles, and their duties are explained in more detail here.
Finally, our budget is paid for by student activity fees collected each semester. We strive to maximize our events and attendance and make it our goal to deliver value to the student body.
It is strongly encouraged for all students to get involved on campus and to participate in the campus community, and student government is a great place to start.
There are the 3 main branches of student government that consisted of:
ASUR Cabinet (Executive)
ASUR Judicial Council (Judicial)
ASUR Senate (Legislative)
Please feel free to contact any members of the cabinet with any of your questions, comments, kudos, or concerns. We appreciate your input and support and look forward to making this a great year!
