Residential Life
Living on campus is an integral part of the Redlands experience. As a result of the University’s commitment to the Residential Life Program, all students who are under 23 years of age and who do not live with immediate relatives or legal guardians (within a reasonable distance from campus), or are not married or in a domestic partnership, are required to live on campus and participate in a university meal plan. A petition process exists for upperclassmen who would like to be off campus during their time at the University.
Redlands undergraduate students live on campus in 12 residences—which range in size from 60 to 190 students.
There are lots of living options, all of them comfortable, welcoming and wired. All residence halls are located on or near the university’s tree-lined Quadrangle with easy access to academic buildings, athletic facilities, entertainment venues and campus dining. All halls feature community rooms with televisions and other amenities, kitchen facilities and laundry rooms.
Wherever you live, you’ll have access to Redlands’ great dining options.
