Opened in Fall of 2002, the Fitness Center offers over 100 pieces of equipment. The cardiovascular area has 25 pieces, including treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes and steppers. The selectorized area contains 26 machines providing opportunity to work both upper and lower body as well as core muscles. Finally, the free weight area has more than 30 different lifting stations.
Availability: The Fitness Center is open to all full-time College of Arts and Sciences students, free of charge. Faculty, staff and administrators may utilize the facility provided they enroll in the user fee program. All Fitness Center users must have a current, valid University of Redlands ID upon entering the facility.

Josh Bullock joined the staff as the Fitness Center Director and Strength & Conditioning Coach in January 2007. No stranger to the Bulldogs, Bullock earned his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Physical Education from the University of Redlands. He also played football for Head Coach Mike Maynard, helping the team capture Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) championships in 1999, 2000, and 2002. Since graduating from Redlands, Bullock became a certified strength and conditioning coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has served as a certified fitness trainer, primarily with Five Points Fitness in Northern California. He also gained a certificate from USA Weightlifting as a club coach.
