The University of Redlands Athletic Department officially joined the PrestoSports family today by launching its athletics-specific Web site at www.goredlands.com.  The Bulldogs join Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges, Whittier College, Caltech, Occidental College and the University of La Verne as members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) who have already signed on with PrestoSports.

The Redlands athletics’ Web site becomes the primary online location for the Bulldogs beginning today.  The previous athletic Web site at www.redlands.edu/athletics.xml will remain available but will receive minimal updates from this point forward.

"We are very excited about teaming up with PrestoSports,” commented Director of Athletics Jeff Martinez.  “Our staff and Presto have worked very hard to create a new athletics Web site, which offers various ways to share and promote the University of Redlands, Bulldog Athletics and the student-athlete experience.”

During the past few months, a small committee of athletics personnel has worked directly with Presto in developing the Bulldogs’ design concept.  The result is an individually designed site with all of the latest web tools - including complete integration into the d3scoreboard system, the SCIAC site and the entire PrestoSports network.

Sports Information Director Rachel Roche headed up this design team, which included Head Swimming & Diving Coach Leslie Whittemore, Football Offensive Coordinator Jeff Thomas, Head Baseball Coach Scott Laverty, and Sports Information Graduate Assistant Brandon Short.

“I was very lucky to have such a dedicated and enthusiastic team to work with during this process.  Everyone contributed to the great ideas that were implemented on the new site,” Roche stated.  “We are thrilled to finally share www.goredlands.com with everyone.”
