Description:

The Chemistry Department at the University of Redlands is seeking applications for a full time, one year visiting position to begin in September of 2008.  Primary teaching responsibilities include general chemistry lecture and lab and organic chemistry lab.  Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry (or expect to complete the degree by September 1, 2008) and teaching experience in chemistry.  The University of Redlands is a small, primarily undergraduate, liberal arts university with a strong commitment to teaching and undergraduate research.  The department emphasizes hands-on learning, and project oriented multiweek laboratory experiences are an essential part of both general and organic chemistry.  The Chemistry Department is ACS approved.  The University is located in the city of Redlands between Los Angeles and Palm Springs.  See www.redlands.edu for general information about the University of Redlands and the Chemistry Department.
