Description:
The Department of Physics at the University of Redlands invites applications for full-time, one-year Visiting position. The appointment will begin in September 2008 and end in May 2009. A Ph.D. in physics or astronomy is preferred, but ABD candidates will be considered. A strong commitment to undergraduate, liberal-arts education is essential. The successful candidate will teach introductory physics courses with lab component for science majors and Advanced Mechanics for physics majors. There will also be an opportunity to involve our students in research.
