| Jan. 18, 2008 - Bulldogs are now ranked among the top 10 most popular dogs by the American Kennel Club.
The American Kennel Club popularity rankings released last week place bulldogs on the top 10 list for the first time since 1935.
Described by an AKC official in a USA Today story as “an all-around family pet who does well with children,” the breed that is the proud mascot of the University of Redlands is soaring in popularity.
A decade ago, it occupied the 26th spot on the list.
Today?
One of the top dogs. That's no surprise to this family of Bulldogs.
We knew it all along.
