Description:
The Asian Studies Program of University of Redlands invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in Chinese Language and Culture, beginning September 2008. Teaching responsibilities include Chinese language courses at all levels, and courses in additional field(s) in Chinese studies in the humanities or social sciences that will complement the strength of existing faculty. Ph.D. by the beginning date of employment, native or near native fluency in Chinese, and college level Chinese language teaching experience required. The position will allow involvement in an active and growing Asian Studies Program. The successful candidate will be able to instruct and interact with an ethnically and culturally diverse student body.
